She was preceded in death by a son, David Burnside; her parents, Charley Levi and Edith Wilson Jones; two brothers, Charles Jones and Melvin Jones; and three sisters, Wilma Higginbotham, Brenda Stone and Debbie Carter. Survivors include her husband, Marvin "Bud" Burnside, whom she married June 20, 1959; two sons, Dennis Burnside, Hoxie, and Chris Burnside, Cherokee Village; two brothers, Tom Jones, Walnut Ridge, and Russell Jones, Rockford, Ill.; four sisters, Reba Oren and Nina Kazee and husband Harold, all of Pocahontas, and Linda Parten and Pam Tate and husband Russell, all of Paragould; and six grandchildren, Kristofer Burnside, Corie Burnside, Mark Ruiz, Sydney Burnside, Holley Burnside and Ariel Allen.
